About Me

Hello! I am Charles Dickerson, author of The Waking Eye and the Spiral's Pull series. My love of stories began with a Nintendo controller in my grandma's trailer playing Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest. From there, it was easy to fall into fantasy classics like Tolkien, Salvatore, Jordan, and many others. My gaming expanded as I got older into tabletop, boardgames, Warhammer, and of course– RPGs. I became the forever GM and have run games in Savage Worlds, Call of Cthulhu, DND 5E, and a handful of others. A few years back, I paused running games to try and tell my own story. That is how The Waking Eye began, and getting to here has been a journey in itself. I am excited to share my writing and continue growing my craft of telling stories.
